VALDOR

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 3 years

VALDOR, affectionately named Waldus, is a black neutered male cat born on April 3, 2026. Though still a small kitten, life has already presented him with a challenging trial. Currently, Waldus is undergoing treatment for his eyes. It is likely that in about two months, he will be eligible for the procedure to remove foreign body obstructions. Despite all this, this remarkable little one never gives in for a moment. He sees well, bravely explores the world, chases toys, plays with his siblings, and every day shows how great a force a small creature can be. Looking at him, it's hard not to be moved by his cheerful spirit. He does not forget what befell him. He does not complain. He simply loves life and enjoys every moment. He is truly cuddly. He adores human closeness, warm laps, and gentle petting. When he feels safe, he buries himself completely, as if to say, "Thank you, that you are here." He is also incredibly brave and gentle. He gets along well with both other cats and dogs. There is no room in his little heart for fear or anger—it is instead a great need for love and being loved. Valdorek is: ✔️ Fixed ✔️ First vaccinations completed ✔️ FIV/FELV tests negative ✔️ Modelly uses the litter box For Waldus, we are searching for a responsible, non-boarding home. One that will love him not despite his history, but because of it. A home that will show him that a difficult beginning does not have to mean a sad life. We dream of a person who will look into his beautiful eyes and see not a sick kitten, but a wonderful friend for many years. Someone who will give him security, patience, and love, and in return will receive the most beautiful gift—a loyal feline heart, purring thank yous, and boundless trust. If you feel that your home and heart have a place for this little warrior, reach out. Maybe you are the person Waldus has been waiting for every day... An adoption agreement and neutering after the appropriate age will be required.

Valdor, pieszczotliwie nazywany Waldusiem, to czarny pręgowany kocurek urodzony 03.04.2026 roku. To prawdziwy przytulak. Uwielbia bliskość człowieka, ciepłe kolana i delikatne głaskanie. Kogoś, kto da mu bezpieczeństwo, cierpliwość i miłość, a w zamian otrzyma najpiękniejszy dar – wierne kocie serce, mruczące podziękowania i bezgraniczne zaufanie.

About VALDOR

What life with VALDOR looks like

VALDOR is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting VALDOR, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about VALDOR?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw VALDOR on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt VALDOR if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is VALDOR already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if VALDOR isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know VALDOR and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
