He needs a bit of patience, to feel trusted and safe before he can offer his love, but once that threshold is passed, you will become his reference and he will be grateful for loving him as he is. From then on, nice cuddling sessions will await you. He will need quiet places, preferably up high, where he can observe you and participate in your life as he wishes. After an adaptation period, he must be able to go out to explore nature and have the freedom to decide himself when he wants to go out and come back - a cat flap is required. Il ne faut pas se fier aux apparences, elles sont souvent trompeuses, et c’est le cas de Valentin, qui est un chat très gentil, mais qui n’ouvre pas son coeur au premier venu. Il a besoin d’un peu de patience, de se sentir en confiance et en sécurité avant de pouvoir offrir son amour, mais une fois ce cap passé, vous deviendrez sa référence et il vous sera reconnaissant de l’aimer tel qu’il est. Dès lors, de belles séances de câlins vous attendront. Il aura besoin d’avoir des endroits au calme, de préférence en hauteur, où il pourra vous observer et participer à votre vie, à sa guise. Après un temps d’adaptation, il doit impérativement pouvoir sortir à la découverte de la nature et avoir la liberté de décider lui-même quand il veut sortir et rentrer = chatière éxigée.
