Дніпро. Ванда мешкає в притулку Вірності з цуценятка, вже 5 років. Її двічі брали в сім'ї та двічі повертали. Адаптація притулкових собак на новому місці - це кропіткий процес, яка потребує терпіння та щирого бажання змінити долю хвостика. Не у всіх виходить. Вандочку повернули, бо вона почала вити ночами. Вона ляклива, їй потрібен довгий час, щоб звикнути до нового дому, до нових звуків, запахів, правил. Виявилось, люди просто не були готові чекати. Але знаєте, що було далі? Вона зустрічала нас біля хвіртки. Радісна. Коли привезли її назад в притулок, Ванда вискочила і побігла до своєї будки, повної сіна, до інших собак, з якими вона дружить. Це була радість. Справжня. Вандочка - золота собака. Дуже ніжна, добра, неконфліктна. Колись її вже брали в сім’ю з маленькими дітьми , дітям хотілося обіймів, постійного контакту, а вона від цього страждала. Тоді її теж повернули. Тепер знову не склалося, бо люди не змогли дати їй час. Постає питання: чи правильно віддавати собак, які довго живуть у притулку і вважають його своїм домом? Вважаємо, так. Так, це стрес. Але це шанс. І ми не маємо права його не дати. Дуже боляче, що народ зараз у такому стані, що люди бояться брати на себе додаткову відповідальність. Це зрозуміло. По-людськи зрозуміло.
