Lugano & Varese a 4 zampe are two canine charity events born to introduce and highlight the relationship between humans and dogs, especially children. The idea came from a small group of friends, passionate about canine activities but concerned about the increasing wave of aggression particularly in 2014 in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. There were indeed many poisonings and reports of bites. Something was needed to restore peace in the human-dog relationship. Thus, "Lugano a 4 zampe," the first and largest dog behaviorist charity event in Switzerland, was born. It grew so much that since 2019 it has been held every other year between Varese and Lugano, we have arrived in Italy! Who knows if we won't reach other countries as well. The proceeds from these events are donated to Forza Rescue Dog, a non-profit organization based in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, active throughout Europe, which deals with rescuing dogs often in critical conditions, restoring their dignity and a family forever. Our great dream is a special dog shelter where dogs that no one wants, those with difficulties, the elderly, can live in harmony and covered in love. Paw up, we are waiting for you to meet you! Lugano & Varese a 4 zampe sono due eventi cinofili di beneficenza nati per far conoscere e sottolineare il rapporto tra uomo e cane, in particolare bambini. L’idea è venuta ad un piccolo gruppo di amiche, appassionate di cinofilia ma preoccupate per la sempre più crescente ondata di aggressività che nel 2014 in particolare, toccava la Svizzera Italiana. Erano infatti numerosi gli avvelenamenti e le segnalazioni di morsi. Serviva qualcosa per rimettere serenità nel rapporto uomo-cane. E così è nato “Lugano a 4 zampe”, il primo e più grande evento benefico cinofilo in Svizzera. E’ cresciuto così tanto che dal 2019 si svolgerà ad anni alterni tra Varese e Lugano, siamo sbarcate in Italia! E chissà che non toccheremo anche altre nazioni… Il ricavato di questi eventi va in donazione a Forza Rescue Dog, organizzazione no profit della Svizzera Italiana, attiva in tutta Europa che si occupa di recuperare cani spesso in condizioni critiche, ridonare loro una dignità e una famiglia. Per sempre. Il nostro grande sogno? Un rifugio per cani speciale, dove possano vivere in sintonia e ricoperti d’amore animali che nessuno più vuole, disagiati, anziani.
