Adopt Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️

Mixed Breed · Male

The small Mars is a Casa Kätzchen, and is currently not happy at his current home!! Here is the text from the current owner:) Mars can stay there as long as an optimal home for him is found, with his needs clearly in the forefront. Mars is, for his age, a very active tomcat. He prefers to play with "natural products," such as long grass blades. Mechanical toys are mostly not to his liking. He is incredibly clever, which is why he has quickly learned small tricks like staying on a spot, going into the transport box, and staying there. He is curious about new things but approaches them with some caution. After a few minutes of getting used to his surroundings, however, he is very self-assured. This applies to both objects and other animals and people. He warms up to women faster than to men. Initially, he shows fear towards them. Things he is still afraid of include loud/firm shoes that rumble on the floor, objects that look like long sticks when held in hand, and the apartment doorbell. During visits, he generally hides until he then comes out after a few minutes out of curiosity. Dogs are no problem for him. It often happens that a young, large dog, accustomed to cats, comes to visit. He approaches them confidently. His health condition is in line with his age. We suspect beginning problems with his joints, but climbing on scratching posts and wall-mounted shelves is no problem. In our opinion, Mars can be integrated into a household with dogs, provided these are cat-friendly and the owners are appropriately experienced. The most important thing is that the new home has at least two cats so that Mars can come into a household where normally socialized cats are present. For more information, please contact Anni:

About Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️

What life with Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️ looks like

Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️ is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Casa Animale e.V. in Gefrees.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Casa Animale e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Casa Animale e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Casa Animale e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vermittlungshilfe!! ❤️ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
