Vesemir has been at our animal shelter since May 2026. You might not have noticed me yet—though that’s nothing unusual, as I’m one of those cats who prefers to hide in the background at first. Strangers scare me, and it takes me a long time to realize that I can trust you. I’d love a quiet home with indoor-only living—but please, not too small. At least 80 square meters would be ideal, giving me plenty of space to retreat and eventually venture out curiously on exploratory adventures. A securely fenced garden would be my biggest dream. There, I could soak up the sun, breathe fresh air, and watch the world from a safe distance. I’m FIV-positive—perhaps you’ve heard the term “cat AIDS” before. The virus weakens my immune system, but it’s neither contagious to humans nor to other animal species. With good care and regular health checkups, I can still look forward to many happy years ahead. To stay healthy and avoid infecting other cats, I’d like a home with indoor-only living and a securely fenced garden. By the way, I definitely don’t want to be alone. I’m hoping for a kind, social cat companion who’ll show me that people aren’t scary at all and keep me company when I’m not quite ready to open up yet. I probably won’t jump onto your lap or let myself be petted right away. At first, you might even see very little of me. But if you give me time, show patience, and don’t expect anything from me, something truly special could blossom between us: trust. And that’s exactly the greatest gift I could ask for. Maybe you’re not looking for the “perfect” cat, but rather a little friend who just needs a bit more time to feel comfortable. If that’s you, we could be perfect for each other. I’m waiting for you at the animal shelter. Maybe you’ll give me the chance to finally feel at home.

Vesemir ist seit Mai 2026 bei uns im Tierheim. Aus der Vielleicht hast du mich noch gar nicht bemerkt. Das ist nicht ungewöhnlich, denn ich gehöre zu den Katzen, die sich lieber erst einmal im Hintergrund verstecken. Fremde Menschen machen mir Angst, und ich brauche viel Zeit, bis ich merke, dass ich dir vertrauen kann. Ich wünsche mir ein ruhiges Zuhause in reiner Wohnungshaltung – aber bitte nicht zu klein. Mindestens 80 Quadratmeter sollten es schon sein, damit ich genügend Platz habe, mich zurückzuziehen und irgendwann neugierig auf Entdeckungstour zu gehen. Ein gesicherter Garten wäre mein größter Traum. Dort könnte ich die Sonne genießen, frische Luft schnuppern und die Welt ganz sicher beobachten. Ich bin FIV-positiv – vielleicht hast du auch schon einmal den Begriff „Katzenaids“ gehört. Das Virus schwächt mein Immunsystem, ist aber weder für Menschen noch für andere Tierarten ansteckend. Mit guter Pflege und regelmäßigen Gesundheitskontrollen kann ich trotzdem noch viele glückliche Jahre vor mir haben. Damit ich gesund bleibe und keine anderen Katzen anstecke, wünsche ich mir ein Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung mit einem gesicherten Garten. Ganz allein möchte ich übrigens nicht sein. Ich wünsche mir einen lieben, sozialen Katzenfreund, der mir zeigt, dass Menschen gar nicht so furchteinflößend sind und mir Gesellschaft leistet, wenn ich mich noch nicht traue. Ich werde wahrscheinlich nicht sofort auf deinen Schoß springen oder mich streicheln lassen. Vielleicht siehst du mich anfangs sogar nur selten. Aber wenn du mir Zeit schenkst, Geduld hast und nichts von mir erwartest, kann zwischen uns etwas ganz Besonderes entstehen: Vertrauen. Und genau das ist für mich das größte Geschenk. Vielleicht suchst du keine perfekte Katze, sondern einen kleinen Freund, der einfach etwas länger braucht, um anzukommen. Dann könnten wir genau die Richtigen füreinander sein. Ich warte im Tierheim auf dich. Vielleicht schenkst du mir die Chance, endlich anzukommen.
