When he arrived, he had a lot of matted fur, and from the very first day he let us do almost all of the grooming without any fuss. He is adorable! Day to day, he is clean, doesn't destroy things, and can stay alone (with or without other dogs) for several hours without any problem. He enjoys walks but adapts well whether it's a short outing or a longer one (the longest we've done with him so far is 2 hours out). He walks very well on a leash. At home, he knows how to settle down but comes readily for cuddles when called. He gets along very well with our dogs. He has met strangers while out walking, others who came to the house, and he even went to visit our family: no problems at all, he comes asking for cuddles and is very sociable. No issues with car rides either. As for his health, I had noticed he tended to drink quite a lot. I took him in for a teeth cleaning this week to help him feel better, and took the opportunity to do a blood test. Everything is perfect except for his kidneys: he has a mild kidney insufficiency. He will therefore need a special diet to protect his kidneys. He weighs 22.2 kg. At the clinic, he charmed everyone, and the team's feedback was unanimous: he is very easy for care, cuddles, and handling, no problems at all, a sweetheart! 05 October 2026: Victor has settled in well with his foster family. A son arrivée, il avait beaucoup de nœuds dans les poils et s'est super bien laissé faire dès le premier jour pour que j'en coupe la quasi totalité sans broncher. Il est adorable ! Au quotidien, il est propre, ne détruit pas, peut rester seul (avec et sans autres chiens) plusieurs heures sans problème. Il aime bien les promenades mais s'adapte bien que ce soit une petite sortie ou une sortie plus longue (le maximum qu'on ait fait avec lui pour le moment c'est 2 heures de sortie). Il marche très bien en laisse. A la maison, il sait se poser mais vient bien chercher des câlins quand on l'appelle. Il s'entend très bien avec nos chiens. Il a croisé des inconnus, en balade, d'autres qui sont venus à la maison, et est même allé chez de la famille à nous : aucun problème, il vient réclamer les câlins et est très sociable. Pas de soucis non plus pour les trajets en voiture. Côté santé, je trouvais qu'il avait tendance à boire pas mal. Je l'ai amené faire un détartrage cette semaine pour lui faire du bien et j'en ai profité pour faire un bilan sanguin. Tout est parfait sauf au niveau des reins, il a une petite insuffisance rénale. Il aura donc besoin d'alimentation spécifique pour préserver ses reins. Il pèse 22,2 kg. A la clinique, il a charmé tout le monde et avec un retour unanime de la part de l'équipe : il est très facile pour les soins, câlins, aucun soucis pour les manipulations, un amour ! 05 octobre 2026 : Victor est bien arrivée en FA. Il est adorable et déjà très à l-aise, comme s-il avait toujours été là! Il est propre, marche bien en laisse, adore les gratouilles et caresses ! 29 août 2026 : Victor : un adorable loulou très affectueux !
