This poor little ball is all alone in the world. The only company with Fork was making fleas that sucked the blood out of a weak, skinny body. The poor girl was horribly inflamed and she had a severe inflammation in her body. Her nose was running out of her eyes. The only thing left from the other eye was the broken remains. The herpesvirus probably got into it, and the eye gradually completely evaded... We're gonna do everything we can to get Fork back on track and finally get to know the nicer side of the world. She's already had a treatment at the vet where she got antibiotics, and after a few days, she started looking a little better. She also had a huge appetite. Given how skinny the poor girl was, there was no wonder. It was quite possible that the feeling of a full belly was the first time in her life. In a few weeks, Forks are still holding on to their rhymes. She's got a lot of energy, she likes to play and cuddle. Unfortunately, she still can't get rid of the cold. She had antibiotics on for a few weeks, and for some time, she was also getting regular inhalations from Vincent to help release the sinuses. This may have made the situation a little better, but Fork still hasn't fully recovered. Therefore, the doctor recommended that after taking her medication, we should have her do head and lung X-rays and also a rhinoscopy where the specialist looks up her nose with a camera. The inflammation that damaged the skull we took Fork for rhinoscopy and CT scan. We felt like we were ready for everything - in the worst case scenario, we expected a tumor to be found in the nose, similar to Nina's, who also had a long history of chronic rhinitis. What the doctor finally revealed didn't occur to us in the worst dream... The fork in her body had an extremely aggressive inflammation that ate a large part of her skull. It hit the septum, part of the face, one ear... The whole head changed shape as a result. The inflammation even got to the lungs, which are also damaged. Even the doctor was completely shocked. He said he's never seen anything like it... It all probably started in an eye that Fork was completely missing from the moment she came to us. The bad news is there's no way to repair the damage that the inflammation has done. The fork has had three months of antibiotic treatment, and the inflammation hasn't stopped... There is still hope for Fork, so the doctor thoroughly cleaned everything he could, took samples for laboratory tests and prescribed another antibiotic for two months. The fork's future was uncertain, but one thing was very clear: the fork wanted to live. On her way back to the dock, she jumped out of the box and ran for a cuddle, like she wasn't talking. At night, she jumped on her aunt's head like a normal, happy cat. And so, Vidli, we venerely promise that we will do everything we can to make it work. To live. To make you happy. Even with the cold, the happy Fork is probably never going to get rid of the cold. However, after overtreatment, the cold is much weaker and does not represent any major obstacle to life. The fork is cheerful, playful and simple and well satisfied. For days, he's been rolling around in fluffy sheets, exploring holes behind closets (what if there was a portal to another world?!), and he likes to watch the birds outside the window. At the last mentioned activity, you can see how it's being scrapped in its head and devising sophisticated plans to chase such birds.
