Vier kleine Herzensbrecher

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Six enchanting puppies were born on May 21/22, 2026. Their future was supposed to be carefree, but fate had other plans: their mother Niobe's owner is seriously ill and can no longer take care of the little family. We are now supporting the search for loving people who would like to give one of the puppies a forever home. Mama Niobe comes from the Spanish mountains of Andalusia. Her mother was a purebred Akita, her father a bright shepherd mix. She herself is a friendly, calm and people-oriented female dog - at the same time, however, also typical Akita self-confident, strong-willed and surprisingly talented in climbing. However, who the father of the puppies is remains a small romantic secret. The litter consists of five males and one female. The little lady was the bravest of all, rushed out first and has already found her new home. The boys are now eight weeks old, weigh about 6-7 kilograms, have already been dewormed and will receive their first vaccinations in the next few days. Teddy is the biggest of the gang and rather the relaxed type. His fur is particularly fluffy and strongly reminiscent of his Akita ancestors. Anton is a little charmer - striking, lively and with an especially handsome face. Emil belongs to the quieter representatives and is, like his siblings, incredibly friendly. His trademark: the small white spot on his nose. Sunny is the secret heart dog. He doesn't push himself forward, but enchants with his loving, gentle nature. The entire gang of rambunctious dogs is affectionate, playful and full of joie de vivre. They love human proximity, cuddle for their lives and even distribute their affection with little earlobe nibbles. Contact in case of interest: Diana - 0177 / 9223199

About Vier kleine Herzensbrecher

What life with Vier kleine Herzensbrecher looks like

Vier kleine Herzensbrecher is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein OHZ e.V. in Osterholz-Scharmbeck.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vier kleine Herzensbrecher, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vier kleine Herzensbrecher?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein OHZ e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vier kleine Herzensbrecher on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vier kleine Herzensbrecher if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein OHZ e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vier kleine Herzensbrecher already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vier kleine Herzensbrecher isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein OHZ e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vier kleine Herzensbrecher and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
