All alone, she was roaming the streets and was thankfully found. The animal welfare workers suspect that Vilma was used for hunting and either didn't hear the recall or has a tendency to run away. An overworked Pointer is a roundly sympathetic and clever dog. He is very loyal to his pack and friendly to people and animals. Pointers are not particularly territorial and, due to their open nature, are not necessarily suitable as guard dogs. This breed readily follows the lead of humans but is not submissive. Of course, the four-legged friends should live directly in the house and must not be kept in a pen. Vilma is very affectionate and shows no fear and is well-suited as a "only dog."

Alleine war sie in den Straßen unterwegs und wurde Gott sei Dank gefunden. Die Tierschützer vermuten das Vilma zur Jagd eingesetzt wurde, und den Rückruf nicht gehört hatte oder eine Tendenz zum weglaufen hat. Ein ausgelasteter Pointer ist ein rundum sympathischer und kluger Hund. Er ist sehr loyal gegenüber seinem Rudel und freundlich zu Menschen und Tier. Pointer sind wenig territorial und auch aufgrund ihres offenen Wesens nicht unbedingt als Wachhunde geeignet. Diese Rasse richtet sich gerne nach den Menschen, ist dabei aber nicht unterwürfig. Selbstverständlich sollten die Vierbeiner direkt im Haus leben und gehören keinesfalls in eine Zwingerhaltung. Vilma ist sehr liebevoll und zeigt keine Angst und ist gut als „Ersthund“ geeignet.
