Vladimir

Male · Young · 2 years

Vladimir is a beautiful tabby and white cat looking for his forever family. 💙 Vladimir is an affectionate cat who enjoys moments of tenderness... but always in his own way! When he feels confident, he willingly comes to ask for pets, especially the little scratches on his head that he loves. 🥰 However, he is a cat with a strong temperament. Vladimir knows what he wants and appreciates that his space and rhythm are respected. He will need a family that can understand his language, respect his independence and build a relationship based on trust. Accustomed to living with other cats, Vladimir enjoys the company of his fellow felines. He will also need access to the outdoors to explore, exercise and satisfy his natural curiosity. 🌿 Vladimir will be particularly suitable for adopters who already know cats or are ready to discover a companion with a real personality. With patience and respect, he will be able to offer beautiful moments of complicity to his future family. ❤️ 🐾 Health: ✔️ Identified ✔️ Vaccinated ✔️ Dewormed ✔️ Neutered and tested negative for FIV-FeLV 🐱 Compatibility: ✔️ Ok with cats 🌿 An outdoor space is essential for his well-being ❓ Compatibility with dogs to be specified Vladimir is now waiting for a family ready to welcome him as he is: an independent cat, with character, but capable of a lot of affection when a beautiful relationship of trust is established. 🏡💙 📍 Visible in foster care in Brest.

About Vladimir

What life with Vladimir looks like

Vladimir is a young adult cat waiting at La Patte sur le Cœur BZH in France.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vladimir, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vladimir?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. La Patte sur le Cœur BZH handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vladimir on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vladimir if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — La Patte sur le Cœur BZH will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vladimir already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vladimir isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with La Patte sur le Cœur BZH early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vladimir and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
