Vodka

Mixed Breed · Male

We thought we would take 19 kittens and double them today. Vodka and Vermouth were thrown out at Vasad, at the vegetable processing plant, as if it were the most natural thing in the world ...(it will never end) Fortunately, animal lovers found them and asked for our help. The boys have been neutered since then, and now we really urgently want to find a home for these two little Krampusz. (Santa is coming, just so you know! Extra Krampusz are never bad for the Red Foszer! ) We estimate their birth to be in May 2024. Both are males, probably siblings - at least they fight with each other like brothers do! Small in size, sweet, hungry for love, but a little fine-tuning will still fit them. Krampus life, yeah. Vodka - the young gentleman with the white shirt. Vermuth - the charming, little black guy. If you feel you might need a compact companion, please visit us on our Saturday open days in Csévharaszt, Pest county. Contact me on my mobile number 06 20 543 5092.

Tartalék krampuszok sosem ártanak a Piros Fószernek! ) 2024 májusára saccoljuk a születésüket. Mindketten kanok, valószínűleg testvérek – legalábbis úgy civakodnak egymással, ahogy a tesók szoktak! Kis testűek, kedvesek, szeretetre éhesek, de némi finomhangolás azért majd rájuk fér. Krampusz-lét, na. Vodka – a fehér mellényes fiatalúr. Vermut – a sármos, fekete kis vagány. Ha úgy érzed, szükséged lehet egy kompakt társra, kérlek szombati nyílt napjainkon látogass el hozzánk Csévharasztra, Pest megyébe. Érdeklődni a 06 20 543 5092-es mobilszámom lehet.

About Vodka

What life with Vodka looks like

Vodka is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Luca Kutyamenedék in Hungary.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vodka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vodka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Luca Kutyamenedék handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vodka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vodka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Luca Kutyamenedék will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vodka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vodka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Luca Kutyamenedék early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vodka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
