Wendy can already be called a heartbreaker despite her young age, as the sight of our sweet mouse with her wild gaze almost always puts a smile on every dog lover's face. But behind her cute appearance lies a soul seeking protection, for Wendy had a very difficult start in life. Together with her five siblings Amadeus, Sonja, Feschi, Berta, and Joy, she had to endure hunger and the fear of death, although Mother Mystery fought like a lioness for her children. Thanks to our local helpers, the family is now in safety. Wendy has not yet fully gotten over the excitement of her first weeks of life and currently shows herself to be rather shy and reserved. People are still scary to her, and it will take time to build up security and trust. However, since she is just at the beginning of her dog life, love and care, as well as a suitable forever home, are very likely to make Wendy a confident female dog. Her human or her forever family should definitely, especially during the first weeks, handle her with great empathy and gentleness. A house with a garden in a rural area would fit her expected size very well. Physical exertion, such as exciting nature walks, as well as mental challenges, should always be at the top of the to-do list. Wendy should learn the lessons of the puppy ABC in peace. Positive working dog training classes can be helpful. Puberty will be another challenge in the foreseeable future. During this phase of hormonal adjustment, forgetfulness or rebelliousness may occur, and Wendy may appear a little changed. Ihre Geschichte: Wendy kann trotz ihres jungen Alters bereits als Herzensbrecherin bezeichnet werden, denn der Anblick unserer süßen Maus mit ihrem verwegenen Blick zaubert fast jedem Hunde-Freund ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. Doch hinter dem niedlichen Erscheinungsbild verbirgt sich eine schutzsuchende Seele, denn Wendy hatte einen sehr schwierigen Start ins Leben. Gemeinsam mit ihren fünf Geschwisterchen Amadeus, Sonja, Feschi, Berta und Joy musste sie Hunger und Todesangst durchstehen, obwohl Mutter Mystery wie eine Löwin um ihre Kinder kämpfte. Dank unserer Helfer vor Ort ist die Familie nun in Sicherheit. Wendy hat die Aufregung ihrer ersten Lebenswochen noch nicht ganz weggesteckt und zeigt sich aktuell recht schüchtern und zurückhaltend. Menschen sind ihr noch unheimlich, es wird etwas dauern, bis sie Sicherheit und Vertrauen aufbauen kann. Da sie jedoch ganz am Anfang ihres Hunde-Lebens steht, werden Liebe und Fürsorge sowie ein passendes Für-immer-Zuhause aus Wendy sehr wahrscheinlich eine souveräne Hündin werden lassen. Ihr Lebensmensch bzw. ihre Für-immer-Familie sollten unbedingt, vor allem während der ersten Wochen, äußerst empathisch und behutsam mit ihr umgehen. Ein Haus mit Garten in einer ländlichen Gegend würde ihrer zu erwartenden Größe entsprechend sehr gut zu ihr passen. Körperliche Auslastung, zum Beispiel in Form von spannenden Wanderungen durch die Natur, sowie geistige Herausforderungen, sollten stets weit oben auf der To-Do-Liste stehen. Die Lektionen des Welpen-ABC muss Wendy in aller Ruhe lernen. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann dabei behilflich sein. Die Pubertät wird in absehbarer Zeit eine weitere Herausforderung sein. Während dieser Phase der hormonellen Umstellung können Vergesslichkeit oder Aufmüpfigkeit auftreten und Wendy ein wenig verändert erscheinen lassen. Doch keine Angst, die Pubertät geht vorbei, danach wird Wendy bestimmt eine loyale Kameradin sein. Möchtest du gemeinsam mit Wendy durch Wald und Wiesen wandern?
