Adopt Wenecja i Tęcza

Mixed Breed · Female

Wenecja i Tęcza are two adorable, approximately 2.5-month-old harbor seals who arrived at the animal shelter as an inseparable duo. These young females are friendly, gentle, and curiously observe the world around them. We are looking for a shared home for them, as they are very bonded and feel best in each other's company. Like all harbor seals, they need an appropriately large living space, daily contact with a caregiver, and a well-balanced diet rich in hay, fresh vegetables, and vitamin C. Wenecja i Tęcza should go to people who either possess the knowledge about the needs of domestic seals or are willing to acquire it. Harbor seals are sensitive and social animals that require attentive care and suitable living conditions for many years.

Read original (pl)

About Wenecja i Tęcza

What life with Wenecja i Tęcza looks like

Wenecja i Tęcza is a adult mixed breed animal waiting at Schronisko Wrocław in Wrocław.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Wenecja i Tęcza far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Wenecja i Tęcza, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Wenecja i Tęcza?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Wrocław handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Wenecja i Tęcza on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Wenecja i Tęcza if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Wrocław will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Wenecja i Tęcza already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Wenecja i Tęcza isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Wrocław early rather than rehoming privately; they know Wenecja i Tęcza and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
