How do I contact the shelter about Wianek?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Wianek on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Wianek if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Wianek already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Wianek isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Wianek and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Wianek

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Wianek. Wianek is a 3-month-old white and reddish tomcat who arrived at our shelter thin and emaciated, showing symptoms of feline catarrh. Today, Wianuszek is a handsome, playful bachelor full of joy and energy. He loves exploring new nooks and visiting places he has been to before. He enjoys playing with other kittens in the room, preferably in a game of tag or wrestling. For him, a human is another playmate, but also a caregiver. Someone who provides safety, feeds, and pets... although Wianek doesn't require this all the time. Wianek will thrive in a home with energetic kittens of a similar age. Or where he will have the opportunity to expend his energy by playing with the household. If you are looking for a charming, active kitten, you couldn't have found a better one! We invite you to visit our shelter and meet Wianuszek in person. Wianek is registered under number 4846/62/26. He has been vaccinated against rabies and infectious diseases and has been microchipped. He is too young for castration surgery at the moment. For those interested in adoption, please contact us by phone at 530-779-523 or 534-185-616.

PL·Show original

WIANEK. Zapraszamy do odwiedzenia naszego schroniska i poznania Wianuszka osobiście..

About Wianek

What life with Wianek looks like

Wianek is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Schronisko dla zwierząt Włocławek in Poland.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
