His condition was very poor: dehydrated, hungry, weak, barely responsive. It took several weeks before we could say with certainty that he was back in the picture – and now, here is Wigald! Time for a family to share their life with a cozy young tomcat. Although Wigald is not one of the cats that rush to greet you and demand cuddles, he is a very pleasant roommate who doesn’t mind being petted. We suspect that he never had the chance to experience what a family means. People with eyes only for him… Wigald gets along well with other cats but also shows some independence. He isn’t particularly interested in them, but cohabitation is no problem. Therefore, we can also imagine him well in single housing, provided he doesn’t have to be alone much in his new home. As an outdoor cat, we see him not. For his travel arrangements, he, like all our cats and tomcats, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He has already tested negative for FIV and FeLV and carries an EU pet passport as well. After a positive review, a foster home would also greatly help him start a new life! Seine Geschichte: Wigald bringt die Geschichte mit, wie die meisten unserer Streuner: Er wurde krank auf der Straße gefunden. Sein Zustand war sehr schlecht: dehydriert, ausgehungert, schwach, kaum ansprechbar. Es hat einige Wochen gedauert, bis wir sicher sagen konnten, dass er zurück im Leben ist – und das ist Wigald jetzt! Zeit für eine Familie, die sich ihr Leben mit einem gemütlichen Katerchen teilen. Auch wenn Wigald nicht zu den Katzen gehört, die aktiv auf einen zukommen und sich Streicheleinheiten abholen, so ist er doch ein sehr angenehmer Mitbewohner, der nichts dagegen hat, gestreichelt zu werden. Wir vermuten, dass er nie erfahren durfte, was eine Familie bedeutet. Menschen, die nur Augen für ihn haben.. Wigald versteht sich gut mit anderen Katzen, zeigt sich aber auch hier unabhängig. Viel Interesse hat er an ihnen nicht, aber ein Zusammenleben ist auch kein Problem. Daher können wir uns ihn auch gut in Einzelhaltung vorstellen. Vorausgesetzt, er muss im neuen Heim nicht viel alleine sein. Als Freigänger sehen wir ihn nicht. Bei seiner Ausreise ist er, wie all unsere Katzen und Kater, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Auf FIV und FeLV wurde er bereits negativ getestet und einen EU-Heimtierausweis packt er ebenfalls ins Köfferchen. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr in Höhe von 250 Euro kann er in sein neues Zuhause ziehen. Auch eine Pflegestelle würde ihm sehr dabei helfen in ein neues Leben zu starten! Ein gemütliches Zuhause – du und Wigald? Vielen Dank Drea N.!
