Willoh (F) – 8 months – Looking for adopters in France Blc W134005172 (France) Characteristics Date of birth: 15/12/2025 Sex: Female Registered with LOF/LOSH/ISDS: No Disabilities: Yes: vestibular ataxia Child-friendly: Yes Dog-friendly: Yes Cat-friendly: Yes Other animal-friendly: No Temperament Willoh was abandoned on the street and, after spending some time in a shelter, was taken in by a foster family. She is an adorable, very affectionate, joyful, and energetic dog. She knows how to settle down and stay alone. All her training still needs to be continued, as does her socialization with other dogs, since she can sometimes be reserved. She has a neurological condition that manifests as vestibular ataxia. This affects the right side of her body but does not prevent her from walking or running at her own pace. History: A home without stairs is preferred. - A family that will have time to devote to her training, as she is young. - A family that can offer her lovely walks and perhaps introduce her to hooping, mantrailing, or other intellectual activities. To continue our work of welcoming and rehabilitating Border Collies, we ask for a contribution toward adoption fees for the dogs we rehome. About Willoh

What life with Willoh looks like

Willoh is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Border Line Collie in borderlinecollie.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Willoh, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Willoh?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Border Line Collie handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Willoh on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Willoh if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Border Line Collie will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Willoh already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Willoh isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Border Line Collie early rather than rehoming privately; they know Willoh and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
