Winslet, Walker and Watson

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

by Jacqueline Freshfields | Nov 1, 2026 | Cats, Cats, Female, Kittens, Male, Pairs - Groups, Wales, Youngsters Winslet, Walker and Watson were admitted from a farm, they hadn’t had much human contact so were understandably wary of humans, we hoped they would find a home pretty quickly, but sadly, this hasn’t been the case. Winslet the white and black female, is quite loving, although a little shy at first, she will purr happily while you give her fuss, Walker, the black and white brother is a little more timid, he will watch Winslet receive fusses and will then allow himself to come over and accept fuss himself. Little Watson, the all black kitten really needs someone to call his own, he is struggling the most with his bravery, and chooses to hide away if someone new visits – so is understandably struggling for a home. The litter have been at the rescue for 3 months already – they need someone patient who can overlook their shyness and give them the time they need to trust anyone new. The reward of gaining a shy kitten or cat’s trust is extremely rewarding and they often become the best companions, they just need someone understanding. About Winslet, Walker and Watson

What life with Winslet, Walker and Watson looks like

Winslet, Walker and Watson is a puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Winslet, Walker and Watson, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Winslet, Walker and Watson?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Freshfields Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Winslet, Walker and Watson on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Winslet, Walker and Watson if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Freshfields Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Winslet, Walker and Watson already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Winslet, Walker and Watson isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Freshfields Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Winslet, Walker and Watson and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
