Wolfi is a friendly and affectionate companion. Initially, he may be a bit reserved towards unfamiliar people and requires some time to get to know his surroundings. After an initial getting-to-know-you phase and a few treats, the ice is soon broken, and he enjoys being gently stroked. His rare hereditary condition, which affects the balance organ in the inner ear (congenital malformation) and hip dysplasia, must be considered during walks, training, and family life. Wolfi can sometimes misjudge certain situations due to his neurological condition, and too many simultaneous external stimuli can overwhelm the male dog. Therefore, no children should live in the household. However, Wolfi does not want to be restricted and enjoys spending time with his family on shorter walks or play sessions. He also gets along well with fellow animals. The lively male dog wishes for a new family with a garden, which he can enrich with his charming and warm personality.

Wolfi ist ein freundlicher und liebevoller Zeitgenosse. Ihm unbekannten Personen tritt er zunächst noch zurückhaltend entgegen und er benötigt etwas Zeit, um sein Gegenüber kennenzulernen. Nach einer ersten Kennenlernphase und ein paar Leckereien ist das Eis aber bald gebrochen und er genießt es dann, ausgiebig gestreichelt zu werden. Seine seltene Erbkrankheit, die das Gleichgewichtsorgan im Innenohr betrifft (congenitale Malformation) und eine Hüftgelenksdysplasie müssen bei Spaziergängen, im Training und auch im Familienleben berücksichtigt werden. Wolfi kann aufgrund seiner neurologischen Erkrankung gewisse Situationen nicht immer richtig einschätzen und zu viele, gleichzeitige Außenreize können den Rüden überfordern. Deshalb sollten keine Kinder im gemeinsamen Haushalt leben. Wolfi möchte sich aber nicht einschränken lassen und genießt die Zeit mit seiner Familie bei kleineren Spaziergängen oder gemeinsamen Spieleinheiten sehr. Auch im Sozialkontakt mit Artgenossen zeigt er sich gut verträglich.
