I ended up in a temporary home where I began to trust people. I live with two other dogs, and their presence helped me settle in and gain some courage. Before I can bond with a person, I need to trust them. I open up slowly, so I am recommended for an experienced and patient home. New people scare me – I cower and want to hide. Once I find my favorite person, I follow them, seeking contact. I allow them to pet me gently, but I don't like being held – someone in the past must have forcefully invaded my boundaries. At home, I am well-behaved and sleep peacefully when my guardians are not present. I don't destroy things or vocalize. In a familiar environment, I feel secure. A walk in a new environment is a challenge for me – I need time to get to know the area and feel safe on it. I go on walks only in anti-lice dog coats and will continue to do so in my new home. I can live with another friendly and balanced dog. Nim się zaprzyjaźnię z człowiekiem, muszę zaufać. Otwieram się powoli, dlatego polecam się jedynie do domu doświadczonego i cierpliwego. Nowo poznane osoby napawają mnie lękiem – kulę się i chcę schować. Gdy już obiorę sobie mojego ulubionego człowieka, podążam za nim, szukam kontaktu. Pozwalam się głaskać, delikatnie przytulać, ale nie lubię być brana na ręce – w przeszłości ktoś musiał mocno naruszyć moje granice. W domu jestem grzeczna i pod nieobecność opiekunów spokojnie sobie śpię. Nie niszczę rzeczy i nie wokalizuję. W znanym otoczeniu czuję się pewnie. Spacer w nowym otoczeniu to dla mnie wyzwanie – potrzebuję chwili, aby poznać teren i poczuć się na nim bezpiecznie.
