Staying in the shelter is very stressful for me. I am learning to be around people, but I haven't had good experiences so far. I let myself be put on harnesses and taken for walks, but it needs to be done calmly and gently. So far, I haven't gone for walks, so harnesses and collars still stress me out a bit. I am quick to learn, but I need a real home. I try to avoid dogs I meet. When I get away from the shelter, I start sniffing slowly, calm down, start walking nicely on a leash. When I calm down, I gently wag my tail at the sight of my caregiver. I don't like going back to the box, because it means loneliness and abandonment. I need a good home that will give me time to gain confidence. Pobyt w schronisku bardzo mnie stresuje. Uczę się dobrej obecności ludzi, dotychczas nie miałam dobrych doświadczeń. Pozwalam zakładać sobie szelki i wyprowadzać na spacer, ale trzeba to robić spokojnie i delikatnie. Do tej pory nie chodziłam na spacery, dlatego szelki i obroża jeszcze mnie trochę stresują. Jestem pojętna i dużo się uczę, potrzebuję jednak prawdziwego domu. Staram się omijać z daleka napotkane psy. Gdy oddalę się od schroniska, zaczynam powoli węszyć, uspokajam się, zaczynam ładnie iść na smyczy. Gdy się już uspokoję, delikatnie merdam ogonkiem na widok opiekuna. Nie lubię wracać do boksu, bo to oznacza samotność i opuszczenie. Potrzebuję dobrego domu, który da mi czas, abym nabrała pewności siebie.
