Adopt Wrona

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Will there finally be happiness in her sad eyes??? For a longer time, she wandered around the neighborhood and was elusive. She didn't trust people. The fate of the frightened female dog wasn't indifferent to several people who fed her every day and tried to help her. Finally, she ended up on a fenced area - which allowed her to be caught. This was in December 2023. Although the beginning at the animal shelter was not easy, she slowly started to get used to the environment. Every day walk and finally, although still minimally, she started to convince herself to come to us. Wrona already approaches known people, hesitantly wagging her tail. She feels good in the company of dogs - both female dog and males. She keeps cleanliness, doesn't destroy. She walks nicely on a leash. She is cautious, afraid of sudden movements. Wrona is a quiet and calm female dog, still observes everything that happens around her. Wrona needs more time to really trust. She will find herself in a home without children. We believe that someone will notice Sunieczkę and truly love her. Born around 2019. Vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Urodzona ok 2019 roku. Została zaszczepiona, zaczipowana i wysterylizowana. Ola 533 564 074 Kasia 507 237 447 Klaudia 609 530 953

About Wrona

What life with Wrona looks like

Wrona is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Radom in Radom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Wrona, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Wrona?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Radom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Wrona on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Wrona if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Radom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Wrona already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Wrona isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Radom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Wrona and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
