Xaron – Little Heartbreaker seeks his forever home! ❤️ Born: approx. 26.08.2026 Sex: male Neutered: no FIV/FeLV test: performed upon departure Location: foster home (Georgiana) of our partner animal welfare organization Help Labus in Galați, Romania Adoption fee: 220 EUR Sometimes it's the very small ones that capture our hearts. 💗 This charming little cat Xaron was brought by a volunteer from the Danube Delta and is currently being lovingly cared for. Just 2 months old (as of 10/26), Xaron is a very special little treasure: loving, gentle and modest. 🐱💕 His caregiver is already very fond of him – and who could blame her? With his delicate nature, you just have to fall in love with him. ❤️ Now he is missing only one thing for his happiness: a family of his own, which gives him love, security and a home forever. 🏡🐾 Who would like to show this little soul how beautiful a sheltered cat life can be? Who gives him the chance to grow up safely, to play, to cuddle and to be loved forever? Xaron wants safe outdoor access so he can explore nature and experience little adventures. A busy road should be at least 200 meters away so he can safely be outside. ℹ️ Our cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, de-fleaed, vaccinated and travel with an EU pet passport. If they are of suitable age, they are of course also neutered. Contact: Ein Herz für Fellnasen in Not e.V.

About Xaron

What life with Xaron looks like

Xaron is a small kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. in Waakirchen.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Xaron, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Xaron?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Xaron on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Xaron if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Xaron already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Xaron isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Xaron and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
