Yatzy er forholdsvis ny kat på internatet. Hun har været noget forsigtig til at starte med, men er så småt begyndt at tø op og blive tryg i hendes nye omgivelser, men der er stadig noget vej endnu. Vi er dog ikke i tvivl om at med ro og tålmodighed, så går der ikke længe. Hun har det med at søge tryghed i højden eller putte inde i huler. Når vi kommer ind til hende, er hun til tider opsøgende og andre gange ikke. Hun er kærlig og vil meget gerne have nus og begynder at spinde højlydt og fortæller at hun er godt tilpas. Hun søger hjem uden mindre børn og med mulighed for at kunne komme ud.
