I am Ylva and came to the animal shelter because my owner unfortunately could no longer care for me due to health reasons. Now I am looking for a new home where I can show what I have inside me. This is me: I am a loving, people-oriented dog. I like to fetch with a lot of dedication, and I am also a water rat. Since I am a hunting dog, this is naturally strongly pronounced in me: I am very vigilant, I want to be busy, discover things and "hunt". I let other dogs pass me quietly, depending on their character and sympathy, I could possibly also move in with an existing dog. I can also stay alone for a few hours. However, I defend my food - we would have to practice this together, and we will definitely get it. I wish for a home that likes to engage with me and where I can pursue my passions. A house with a garden would be great, but with enough exercise, an apartment is also possible. Cats or other small animals should not live in the household - my hunting instinct, you know. The best for me would be the outskirts of the city or rather something rural, so that I am not constantly tempted to hunt with many encounters with e.g. city pigeons etc. Children living in the household should already be older and sensible. Ich bin Ylva und kam ins Tierheim, weil sich mein Besitzer aus gesundheitlichen Gründen leider nicht mehr um mich kümmern konnte. Jetzt suche ich nach einem neuen Zuhause, in dem ich zeigen kann, was in mir steckt. Das bin ich: Ich bin ein lieber, menschenbezogener Hund. Ich apportiere gern und mit viel Hingabe, außerdem bin ich eine Wasserratte. Da ich ein Jagdhund bin, ist das natürlich stark bei mir ausgeprägt: Ich bin sehr wachsam, möchte Beschäftigung, Dinge entdecken und „jagen“. An anderen Hunden lasse ich mich ruhig vorbeiführen, je nach Charakter und Sympathie könnte ich eventuell auch zu einem schon vorhandenen Hund ziehen. Ich kann auch mal ein paar Stunden allein bleiben. Mein Futter verteidige ich allerdings – das müssten wir bitte weiter gemeinsam üben, und kriegen das auch ganz bestimmt hin. Ich wünsche mir ein Zuhause, das sich gern mit mir beschäftigt und wo ich meinen Leidenschaften nachgehen kann. Ein Haus mit Garten wäre natürlich super, aber bei genug Auslastung ist auch eine Wohnung möglich. Katzen oder andere Kleintiere sollten nicht mit im Haushalt leben – mein Jagdtrieb, du weißt schon. Am besten wäre für mich der Stadtrand oder eher etwas Ländliches, damit ich eben genau zu diesem Jagdtrieb nicht ständig bei vielen Begegnungen mit zB Stadttauben etc verleitet werde. Im Haushalt lebende Kinder sollten schon älter und verständig sein. Möchtest du einer tollen Hündin ein Zuhause schenken?
