She has grown up in the enclosure together with her siblings and has no experience at all of life outside it, which makes her uncertain about people and the world around her. Her greatest dream is to leave the enclosure and discover life in a safe and secure way. The family who adopts Ylva needs to be confident, calm, and experienced with fearful or insecure dogs, and have plenty of patience and time. Ylva needs support to build courage and self-confidence, and every step forward will happen at her own pace. She wants to explore environments, scents, and people when she herself feels ready, and this must be fully respected. Despite her insecurity, she allows herself to be handled gently, but it requires understanding, calmness, and experience for her to feel truly safe. Ylva gets along very well with other dogs and would gladly live with another confident dog who can guide her in everyday life.
