Yoschi

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Yoschi has found a home! His story: Yoschi had great luck: he was allowed to travel to a foster home and is now searching for loving people for life. Whoever looks into his eyes immediately recognizes his gentle nature. Yoschi is attentive, sensitive, and cautious – and at the same time full of hope. A fluffy puppy with a big heart, now ready to find his own family. Together with his mother Sole and his brothers Zuma, Nuka, and Titus, he came to the shelter in Bistrița. While his siblings are a bit more athletic, Yoschi captivates with his fluffy fur and his expressive face, which gives him a special portion of charm. At about 4 months old, Yoschi is still at the beginning of his life. He is curious, but more of a gentle observer – not a daredevil, but a sensitive boy who needs security and loving companionship. His appearance suggests that a retriever mix might be in him, possibly with a Collie influence. For Yoschi, we are looking for people who can teach him the dog ABC with patience, understanding, and loving consistency – without pressure or coercion. A positively working dog training class would certainly be a valuable support after the adjustment period, especially during the upcoming puberty when young dogs often have fluff in their heads. The little teddy bear is likely to reach a shoulder height of about 55–60 cm and weigh between 18 and 30 kg – so medium to large. He would fit best with a quiet family with a place in their heart and perhaps also in their garden. Yoschi is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. Of course, he also brings an EU pet passport. After the positive adjustment period, would you like to show Yoschi the world and give him security? Then contact us. A big thank you to Aleksandra, who gave Yoschi his name and thus a piece of his future. Thank you, Aleksandra – you have given Yoschi his name and thus a piece of his future. As of: 23.09.

About Yoschi

What life with Yoschi looks like

Yoschi is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Yoschi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yoschi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yoschi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yoschi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Yoschi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yoschi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yoschi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
