Yoshi &#038

Unknown · Adult · 4 years

We are Yoshi and Nicole... and we're looking for a home together. I, Yoshi, am the white ram boy. According to my breed, you need to take care of my ears and clean them regularly. My friend Nicole has a mild step-tooth condition that should be checked every four months. We want... plenty of space and variety - and people who will love us forever despite our health problems. In an apartment, at least 6 square meters should be available permanently for two rabbits. Additionally, daily outdoor time is recommended so we can get enough exercise. Can we move in with you? If interested, please fill out the application form below or call our animal caretakers from Monday to Friday 1-4 pm except Saturdays).

About Yoshi &#038

What life with Yoshi &#038 looks like

Yoshi &#038 is a adult rabbit waiting at Tierheim Berlin in Berlin.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Yoshi &#038, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yoshi &#038?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Berlin handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yoshi &#038 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yoshi &#038 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Berlin will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Yoshi &#038 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most rabbits on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yoshi &#038 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Berlin early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yoshi &#038 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
