Zijn grote, brede kop en stoere gedaante doen vermoeden dat je hier met een ware lefgozer van de straat te maken hebt, maar stiekem is niets minder waar. Yoshi mag dan wel van de straat komen, maar eigenlijk vindt hij het leven best wel spannend. Hoewel hij er stoer uitziet, is Yoshi vooral lief. Hij zoekt je op om geaaid te worden, maar is ook graag op zichzelf. Over het algemeen is het een rustige kater die vooral zijn eigen ding doet; hij vindt het alleen wel gezellig om dat eigen ding te doen in jouw gezelschap. Dat klinkt niet al te veeleisend, toch?
