YOUK is a beautiful medium-sized Australian Shepherd, just over 2 years old. Well-trained, he is calm and composed indoors and can be left alone without any issues. Very close to his human, he is affectionate and also enjoys the company of children. Social with other animals of the same species, YOUK prefers to meet others off-leash; therefore, socialization training will need to continue to help him be more comfortable on a leash. He is a playful, dynamic, and energetic dog who will need regular physical and mental exercise and stimulation. Very intelligent and attentive, he could excel in activities like agility, though he sometimes displays a bit of a stubborn streak! As a true herding dog, he loves to "gather his human flock" during walks. However, YOUK does not get along at all with cats and is predatory towards them. YOUK will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, with an active person who enjoys walks, outdoor activities, or wishes to share a canine activity with their companion. Youk est un magnifique berger australien de gabarit moyen, âgé d’un peu plus de 2 ans. Bien éduqué, il se montre calme et posé à l’intérieur et sait rester seul sans difficulté. Très proche de son humain, il est affectueux et apprécie également la compagnie des enfants. Sociable avec ses congénères, Youk préfère toutefois les rencontres en liberté ; un travail de socialisation sera donc à poursuivre pour l’aider à être plus à l’aise en laisse. C’est un chien joueur, dynamique et plein d’énergie, qui aura besoin de dépenses physiques et mentales régulières et de qualité. Très intelligent et attentif, il pourrait exceller dans des activités comme l’agility, même s’il sait parfois faire preuve d’un petit caractère têtu ! Véritable chien de berger, il adore d’ailleurs “rassembler son troupeau” d’humains pendant les balades. En revanche, Youk ne s’entend pas du tout avec les chats et se montre prédateur à leur égard. Youk s’épanouira pleinement dans une maison avec un jardin bien clôturé, auprès d’une personne active aimant les promenades, les activités de plein air ou souhaitant partager une activité canine avec son compagnon.
