Yuli

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Yuli can travel directly to her new home! Her story: The little Yuli is an incredibly cute female dog that conquers hearts in a storm! She was found by friends of our Heni in Zalau next to a trash container – completely alone. She was dehydrated, full of fleas, and very hungry. At first, it was thought she was dead. But when they approached her, she began to wag her tail, and so Yuli was saved. Yuli is puppy-type: playful, curious, and cuddly. She is a bit more reserved but still confident. Yuli loves treats and enjoys being petted. We do not know Yuli’s parents, but we assume she will stay small. Yuli is looking for people who will not have too many expectations of her and will show her how a normal dog life works. She is still a baby and has a lot to learn. One or another mishap should not be held against her, and Yuli should always be guided with a positive and reinforcing training style. She is looking forward to her new life with beautiful nature walks, many cuddle hours, and also a visit to puppy school. Puppies should not be left alone as much as possible in their first year of life. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the little rascals’ lives upside down. They “forget” much of what they have learned and their ears are on full alert. Therefore, it is especially important in this phase to train consistently but lovingly. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! Our Yuli is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She brings her EU pet passport and can travel after a positive our area! Stand: 20.07.

Stand: 20.07.2024

About Yuli

What life with Yuli looks like

Yuli is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Yuli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Yuli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Yuli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Yuli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Yuli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Yuli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Yuli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
