Zalakomári Zumba

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 6 years

Thanks to the coordinated work of several animal welfare organizations, another breeding facility was shut down in Zalakomár. From this rescue, 6 dogs came into our care. We are currently waiting for the official government records to acquire ownership. Initially, everyone has undergone veterinary examinations, received their first vaccinations, been given names, and can be placed with a family through a temporary or permanent foster care agreement after being spayed. In every case, we bring the new family member to the adoptive family's home. One of the lucky ones is Zalakomári Zumba, a mixed breed female dog born in 2020. Like her fellow dogs, Zumba is timid but not afraid of human contact. She is suitable for indoor living and can be adopted as a family member. For more information, please see a detailed introduction letter, additional pictures HERE!

Több állatvédő szervezet összehangolt munkájának köszönhetően egy újabb szaporítótelep került felszámolásra Zalakomárban. Ebből a mentésből 6 kutya került gondozásunkba. Jelenleg a kormányhivatali jegyzőkönyvre várunk, a tulajdonjog megszerzése miatt. About Zalakomári Zumba

What life with Zalakomári Zumba looks like

Zalakomári Zumba is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Requires patient family due to puppy mill background

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zalakomári Zumba, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zalakomári Zumba?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zalakomári Zumba on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zalakomári Zumba if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Zalakomári Zumba already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zalakomári Zumba isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zalakomári Zumba and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
