SPECIAL APPEAL FOR A VERY SPECIAL GIRL Zara came into our care on the 21st May after a phone call from a concerned member of the public describing that there was a dog sitting in her garden with no hair. We immediately left to try and locate this dog and bring him/her to safety, and that we did – a beautiful little female lurcher at only around 6 months old. It took over two hours to gain her trust before we could finally get close enough to help. Her condition was very poor with severe mange, sores, underweight and exhausted, we have added two photos below. Zara headed straight to our vets to get treated for her skin condition. With lots of TLC from the team at PAWS, her hair is growing back slowly but surely. Zara is vaccinated, microchipped & spayed
