Zeus

Husky ยท Male ยท Puppy ยท 6 months

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿพ Let me introduce myself: my name is Zeus, I am a sweet puppy who resembles a Husky, born in April 2026. My life began in Calabria, where I was found together with my siblings and my mom, a beautiful 2โ€‘yearโ€‘old Husky. My dad is unknown. We were in a difficult situation and needed help. Luckily, I am now safe and can finally think about my future. I am a puppy who will grow into a medium-sized dog โ€“ as an adult I will weigh around 20โ€“25 kg โ€“ and I am a true mix of energy and gentleness: I love playing, running and having endless fun, but when itโ€™s cuddle time, I turn into a tender little bear. I dream of a home where I can grow up loved, protected and surrounded by all the attention every puppy deserves. In return, I promise to fill the life of my future family with joy, playfulness and lots of love. I am currently in Italy, but I can travel anywhere in Europe and the United Kingdom within two to three weeks for a good adoption. ๐Ÿฉท If you would like to give me a chance, Iโ€™m here waiting for you. ๐Ÿถ ๐Ÿ‘‰ I am vaccinated and tested negative for Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Dirofilaria, Brucellosis and Leishmania. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Adoption only with a protection contract, adoption fee and home check (RBU included). ๐Ÿ“ Foster/Adoption form: ๐Ÿ“ž ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Chiara (WhatsApp) โ€“ ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Chiara (WhatsApp only) โ€“ ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Sabrina (WhatsApp)

About Zeus

What life with Zeus looks like

Zeus is a medium-sized puppy/kitten husky dog waiting at Furry Rescue Italy in Nazionale.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window โ€” house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นAdopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zeus, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zeus?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Furry Rescue Italy handles screening and the adoption contract directly โ€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zeus on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zeus if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad โ€” Furry Rescue Italy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra โ‚ฌ100โ€“โ‚ฌ350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Zeus already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported โ€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zeus isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work โ€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Furry Rescue Italy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zeus and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect โ€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
