Adopt ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ)

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

I took her by force from the yard of people who "loved" her... Exactly like that "loved", they brought her to a state of critical dystrophy. This is already in the past. No one else has the right to hurt her. Now Zhulya is learning to live again. She is beginning to trust people again. She slowly eats her cheeks and sides. And along with the kilograms, she is regaining faith in good. I haven't met such a nice, bright and positive dog for a long time. She cuddles, looks for warmth, looks into the eyes - as if asking: "Now I am safe?" I dream of finding a family for her where she will not just be a dog, but a real, important member of the family. Zhulya deserves love. Not a chain. Not indifference. But a sofa, walks and hugs.

About ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ)

What life with ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ) looks like

ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ) is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Happy Paw Poltava in Ukraine.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇺🇦Adopting from Ukraine

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Poltava handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Poltava will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Poltava early rather than rehoming privately; they know ZhULYa (ЖУЛЯ) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
