Ziggy has been with us at the shelter since January 2019. As a very young horse, he was ridden intensively with a lot of pressure and incorrect equipment. Therefore, he finds it difficult to comply with the will of a trainer. His previous owner wanted to give Zayin a good future but decided two years after purchasing to move to the Netherlands. Ziggy then came to us. At our shelter, we consciously work little with the horses and donkeys, so they can simply be a horse or donkey after everything they have experienced. We like to walk and swim with him in a playful way, without high demands or weight on their backs. Ziggy is a bit mischievous and will always try to sneak some leaves. You can see his lots of energy when you watch him rolling in the water during walks. He loves to play and to run freely in the paddock paradise at our shelter. He is always curious and wants to know what's happening at the shelter. (See also the arrival of the pigs in the photos). Ziggy Ziggy is sinds januari 2019 bij ons op de opvang. Als heel jong paard is hij intensief bereden met veel druk en verkeerde hulpmiddelen . Hij kan daarom erg lastig omgaan met opgelegde wil van een trainer. Zijn vorige eigenaar wilde Zayin een fijne toekomst geven maar besloot 2 jaar na de aankoop naar Nederland te verhuizen. Ziggy is toen bij ons terecht gekomen. Bij ons op de opvang wordt er bewust weinig gewerkt met de paarden en ezels, om ze gewoon lekker paard of ezel te laten zijn na alles wat ze hebben meegemaakt. We gaan graag wandelen en zwemmen met hem op een speelse manier, zonder hoge eisen of last op hun rug. Ziggy is wel een beetje ondeugend en zal altijd proberen om stiekem blaadjes te snoepen. Hij heeft veel energie dat merk je wel als je hem tijdens de wandelingen in het water ziet rollebollen. Hij vindt het heerlijk om te spelen en om los rond te rennen in het paddock-paradise op onze opvang. Hij is altijd nieuwsgierig en wil weten wat er allemaal gebeurt op de opvang.
