ZIGI ❤️❤️❤️ Led a peaceful life as a country dog. He ran around the yard, barked at strangers through the fence, and was happy when his owner came home... When a fire broke out, he suddenly lost everything 😢😢😢. His beloved owner and two canine companions perished in the flames. He survived but has nothing left. No owner, no home, no canine brothers. He was left alone... He ran away from the yard and looked for his owner. He was then chained up. Someone comes, feeds him but can't take permanent care of the dog. We are looking for a home for Zigi. We are looking very urgently because winter is approaching. The dog can't live like this. He is 2 years old, weighs about 10 kg. He is located in the Skierniewice area. Ani pani, ani domu ani psich braci. Został sam…. Uciekał z podwórka i szukał swojej pani . Przebywa w okolicach Skierniewic. Kontakt w sprawie bezpłatnej adopcji ☎️ 785 617 791 ☎️ ☎️ 509 104 718 ☎️

About ZIGI

What life with ZIGI looks like

ZIGI is a medium-sized puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Frequently asked

Adopting ZIGI, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ZIGI?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ZIGI on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ZIGI if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is ZIGI already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ZIGI isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know ZIGI and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
