Zina

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 5 months

Zina is a happy, playful and energetic little girl who loves to have someone to play and cuddle with all the time. She doesn't care if it's a person or another dog. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, regardless of their size. The little explorer is curious about the world and meets people kindly. Zina already walks on a leash and enjoys her walks. She also likes children very much, which is why she could be a good family dog. With her active, open nature, she will surely bring a lot of joy to her new home. Originally, Zina lived in the municipal animal shelter. Since this environment can be unsuitable and dangerous for young puppies, she was allowed to move to our dog park. She has been living there for several weeks now, is healthy, fully vaccinated and ready to find her own family. Zina is expected to be about 50 cm tall and is looking for people who want to discover the world with her, teach her everything important lovingly and accompany her for a lifetime. Who will give this happy little girl a loving forever home?

DE·Show original

About Zina

What life with Zina looks like

Zina is a large puppy mixed breed dog waiting at TSV Strassenpfoten e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. TSV Strassenpfoten e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — TSV Strassenpfoten e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Zina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with TSV Strassenpfoten e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
