Zoe is independent and content, she's perfectly happy spending the day in her favourite corner by the window while you're at work. But when you get home, she'll be there to keep you company, especially in the evenings. She'll curl up next to you on the sofa or settle beside you at bedtime. She's not a lap cat just yet, though who knows, she might someday. She adores being brushed, and it's become her favourite morning ritual. She also comes when you call her name, and like clockwork, she'll appear every evening for a session with her favourite wand toy. She can get startled by sudden noises or movements, but she settles quickly and comes right back to you. In all her time in foster care, she has never once scratched or bitten, but would still prefer a home without children. She appears to have been accepting of other cats in the past, but we think Zoe should remain a single cat, if only so she can receive all the attention she deserves. She has adapted happily to indoor life, but Zoe spent much of her earlier life outdoors and would surely love safe access to a secure garden — her previous owner described her as quite the explorer, hunting for play and dancing in the rain.
