Zorra

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 4 months

Zorra is a young spark of energy born in February 2025 who is looking for her forever home! She brings lots of energy, joy and... a little chaos everywhere she goes. This little troublemaker has a big heart and loves people, playing and being the center of attention. Zorra is very outgoing, open and curious about the world. She enjoys forming relationships with humans but as a puppy - she doesn't always know where her boundaries are. She can be stubborn and cleverly demand attention so she will need an owner who patiently and consistently shows her the rules. This is a dog that will grow into a wonderful companion if properly guided. She is full of puppy energy - loves to play, misbehave and discover the world. However, this energy needs to be skillfully directed and taught how to calm down. We are looking for an aware home that understands that raising a young dog takes time and commitment. Due to her lively temperament she will do better in a house with older children because they might not be able to handle her wild nature. Zorra will grow into a medium-sized female dog in the future. If you give her your time, consistently guide her and shower her with love, she will repay you with devotion, joy and shared adventures for many years to come. At the shelter since June 2026.

Zorra to młodziutka iskierka, urodzona w lutym 2025, która szuka swojego człowieka! Wnosi ona wszędzie mnóstwo energii, radości i… odrobinkę chaosu.

About Zorra

What life with Zorra looks like

Zorra is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku in Poland.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zorra, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zorra?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zorra on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zorra if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Zorra already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zorra isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko dla Zwierząt w Słupsku early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zorra and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
