Dit is de lieve Zucchini! Zucchini is een ontzettend lieve, sociale en aanhankelijke kater die graag bij mensen in de buurt is. Hij houdt van aandacht, speeltjes en vooral van eten. Speelgoedmuisjes draagt hij trots miauwend door het huis alsof hij een grote trofee heeft binnengehaald. Het is dan natuurlijk wel de bedoeling dat je hem daarvoor complimenteert, want trots dat hij is op zijn jachtkunst! Deze zwart-witte kater kan heerlijk spelen, maar heeft ook een rustige en zachte kant. Zodra hij iemand vertrouwt, verandert hij in een enorme knuffelaar. Dan komt hij dicht tegen je aan slapen, geeft hij kopjes en vraagt hij heel beleefd met zijn voorpootjes om of je hem wilt aaien. Hij vindt het ook heerlijk om als een baby in je armen te liggen, op zijn rug met zijn buikje omhoog voor buikkriebels. Dan begint hij luid te spinnen en deelt hij soms heel zacht liefdesbeetjes uit, waarin hij zijn waardering voor jou laat blijken. Soms is Zucchini een beetje onhandig enthousiast, subtiel is niet helemaal zijn talent. Maar dat maakt hem juist ook ontzettend grappig. Hij kan goed overweg met andere katten en geniet van een veilige, rustige omgeving. Daarom past hij niet bij hele kleine kinderen. Wat oudere kinderen zijn geen probleem voor hem. Veranderingen zijn niet echt zijn ding, daar wordt Zucchini een beetje onzeker van. Praat een beetje lief om hem dan gerust te stellen en geef hem wat snacks, dat kan hij erg waarderen. Zolang hij zich geliefd voelt, komt het wel goed in situaties die hij lastig vindt. Hij vindt bezoek van onbekenden nog een beetje eng, want dat is hij totaal niet gewend. Geef hem een paar maanden en de kans is erg groot dat hij bezoekers leuk gaat vinden. Achtergrond Zucchini werd als klein hummeltje gevonden met zijn broertjes en zusjes, ze woonden in een krot. De kittens waren erg zwak en hun moeder was volledig uitgeput. Ondanks zijn moeilijke start heeft Zucchini zich goed ontwikkeld tot een vrolijke en liefdevolle kat. Zijn oogjes zijn een klein beetje troebel gebleven, maar daar heeft hij totaal geen last van. Zucchini is gecastreerd, gevaccineerd, gechipt, ontwormd en ontvlooid. Hij is negatief getest op FIV en FeLV. Al onze kittens worden uitsluitend in een huisje geplaatst waar al een andere kat aanwezig is, of als duo!
