Dolina – waiting in an animal shelter in Hungary – Dolina, a small wire-haired dachshund mix lady, is looking for her home. Dolina was born on 01.10.2025, is about 32 cm tall and weighs approx. 10 kg. She is a young wire-haired dachshund mix female with a very special character. She was found on a country road – presumably abandoned and simply left behind. All the more, she now wishes for a safe place where she never has to be afraid again. Dolina is initially rather cautious and reserved. But as soon as she gains trust, she gives you her whole heart and all her love. Then she shows herself to be very clingy and people-oriented. She has no problems at all with other dogs and is socially compatible. Walking on the leash is currently being practiced with her. A Caniv-4D test will be carried out shortly. We are looking for animal-loving people for Dolina who appreciate and understand the typical dachshund character – clever, sensitive, and with a mind of their own, but full of love when they feel safe. People who give her the time to settle in calmly and build trust. Dolina can be rehomed either as an only dog or alongside an existing second dog. What matters are patience, love, and a stable environment in which she can arrive. Who will give this little soul her forever home? We are happy to answer your questions.

About 👉 Zurück

What life with 👉 Zurück looks like

👉 Zurück is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Hundepfoten Steinfurt e.V. in Nordwalde.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting 👉 Zurück, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about 👉 Zurück?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hundepfoten Steinfurt e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw 👉 Zurück on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt 👉 Zurück if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hundepfoten Steinfurt e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is 👉 Zurück already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if 👉 Zurück isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hundepfoten Steinfurt e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know 👉 Zurück and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
