Zwergi & Teddy

European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 3 months

We’re Zwergi and Teddy—two sweet, young male kittens looking for a forever home. Here’s a bit about us: At our age, we’re very curious and full of energy. I’m Teddy (black with a small white patch on my chest)—I’m highly people-oriented and love lots of human interaction. I absolutely adore cuddling! But of course, I’m also very active—I romp and play a lot, either with my brother or with toys like a feather teaser. Zwergi (gray tabby) is more independent; he loves to romp and play with me, but he also enjoys playing by himself. He seeks out human company mainly for playtime, though he does have his cuddly moments too and absolutely loves snuggling up for some cozy time together. At our foster home, we’ve already gotten used to everyday household noises and are comfortable living alongside older children. We’d love a home with plenty of space to play and run around, complete with scratching posts—and maybe even catwalks! A balcony (securely fenced, of course) would be fantastic as well. If you’d like to give us a loving home, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the inquiry form below.

About Zwergi & Teddy

What life with Zwergi & Teddy looks like

Zwergi & Teddy is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierheim Berlin Falkenberg in Berlin.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zwergi & Teddy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zwergi & Teddy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Berlin Falkenberg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zwergi & Teddy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zwergi & Teddy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Berlin Falkenberg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Zwergi & Teddy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zwergi & Teddy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Berlin Falkenberg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zwergi & Teddy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
