Jenkins je středně velký kříženec ve věku okolo tří let. Ještě není testován s kočkami, ale může být. může žít s samičkou nebo může být jediným psem. Respektující děti 5+. Jenkins byl nedávno přijat do naší péče ze záchranného centra Botosani v Rumunsku. Jenkins je super přátelský kluk, který miluje každého, koho potká. Rád chodí na procházky a má rád spoustu polibků. Může žít s samičkou, ale bude velmi šťastný jako jediný pes ve svém domě. Může žít s respektujícími dětmi, které znají psy, od 5 let. Jenkins byl dočasně u SNorwich Norfolk Pokud máte zájem, napište nebo zavolejte mezi 9:00 a 17:00 pondělí pátek nebo mezi 9:00 a 16:00 soboty. Poplatky za adopci jsou Pštice již sterilizované a všechny dospělé psi: 430 £. Nesterilizované pštice pod smlouvou o sterilizaci: 530 £ (dostanete náhradu 100 £, jakmile nám pošlete důkaz o sterilizaci). Starší psi (10+ let): 150–250 £ (podle věku a individuálních potřeb). Podmínky pro adopci Když adoptujete psa od Safe Rescue, musíte použít látkový řemínek. To vás uchraní před rizikem: váš nový pes bude nervózní a nebude vám důvěřovat, a vy nebudete vědět, které situace by mohly jeho strach zhoršit. Pokud pes zpanikaří, látkový řemínek je jediný způsob, jak zabránit jeho útěku (mnoho psců se může vymanit z očka a/nebo sedačky). Bude trvat NEJMÉNĚ 3-6 měsíců, než se pes uklidní a vy budete znát svého psa plně (pro nervózní psy déle). Látkový řemínek musí být vždy použit během tohoto období uklidňování. I poté, co se pes uklidní, je bezpečné používat látkový řemínek v situacích, kdy se pes může bát (např. navštěva nových míst, kolem cizích lidí, u veterináře), nebo v situacích, kde mohou nastat neočekávané triggerové události (např. kolem nocí svátku sv. Martina). Nervózní psi mohou vždy nosit látkový řemínek jako záložní bezpečnostní opatření. Látkový řemínek je bezpečnostní pomůcka a nikdy nesmí být používán jako nástroj tréninku. Použití řemínku k aplikaci tlaku na krk psa je škodlivé. Pokud pes tahejí řemínek, můžeme vám poradit s metodami tréninku, které nezpůsobí škodu. Jakmile se pes uklidní, můžete zvážit použití sedačky (spolu s látkovým řemínkem), pokud pes toleruje dotyk při nasazení sedačky. Většina sedaček není unikací bezpečná, ale sedačky se řemínkem za hrudní kostí (např. Ruffwear Webmaster nebo Perfect Fit sedačky) jsou bezpečnější. Nijak nesmí být použity roztažné / roztažitelné řemínky. Adopce psů musí být převzata ze záchranného centra a dopravena rovnou domů v bezpečné ocelové kleci. Jenkins is a medium sized crossbreed aged around three years old. Okay with cats. Can live with or without other dogs. Adult home needed. Jenkins has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. Jenkins is a quirky boy who forms strong bonds with his “person”. If he was a human I guess he would be classed as a little OCD which can lead to some peculiar behaviours. He is somewhat oblivious to the concept of personal space and can be a trip hazard around the home due to always having to be “right there”. He is currently living alongside other dogs in his foster home and will play happily with the pack. As a creature of habit he can become unsettled when new dogs come into the home and over stimulated when things get chaotic and therefore a quiet and steady how with little coming and going would suits his needs best. As time passes he is becoming more relaxed, he is an extremely loving and affectionate boy who would be great company for a single person or couple. He is ok with cats, could live with or without another dog but will need an adult home environment. If you are interested please message or call between 9am to 5pm Mon – Fri or 9am to 4pm Sat. . Adoption Donation Fees are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
