Může žít s dětmi staršími, které jsou ve druhém stupni školy a cítí se dobře u bouřlivého psa. Leon bude potřebovat adoptéry, kteří budou většinu dne dostupní na začátku, protože nemůže být okamžitě osamocen a potřebuje čas a trpělivost, aby postupně zvyšoval své hodiny odchodu. Stále pracuje na tréninku pro vykonávání moči a základních způsobů chování, takže bude potřebovat zodpovědného majitele, který bude pokračovat v jeho tréninkovém cestě. Leon is looking for a home in a quiet location without too much passing footfall and traffic. He would be best suited as the only dog in the home, as he can feel conflicted around other dogs and may become intense if they get too close or “in his face.” He will need to be kept on lead in public and managed carefully around other dogs for this reason the team have started muzzle training with Leon and will work with his new family to continue this. Leon is a clever boy (he can even open doors) and really enjoys his training he loves the one on one time with his handlers. He would thrive with an experienced owner, ideally someone familiar with Staffies, who understands his needs and can provide consistent guidance and structure. In the right home, Leon is a loving, lively companion and a true Staffie lover’s dream—full of fun, affection, and character, but he also has a sensitive side and can be anxious around unfamiliar objects and noises. With the right support and environment, he will make a wonderful and rewarding addition to his new family. Leon is a 4-year-old, high-energy boy bursting with personality and affection. He’s confident and excitable when meeting new people and truly loves everyone he meets—especially if it ends with a cuddle! Leon thrives on activity and would suit an active home that can provide him with plenty of physical exercise as well as mental enrichment, as he absolutely adores his toys and exploring new places. Leon will need adopters who are around all the time, as he cannot be left alone right away and will need time and patience to gradually build up his leaving hours. He gets very distressed when left alone and is looking for a family that understand he needs time to decompress coming from kennels before training starts on leaving alone. A home with knowledge and experience of the breed would be beneficial. He is still working on housetraining and basic manners, so he’ll need a committed owner willing to continue his training journey. He can live with older, secondary school-aged children who are comfortable around boisterous dogs. Any new adopters will need to be committed to multiple meets and home visits.
