Leon skulle passa bäst som enda hunden i hemmet, eftersom han kan känna sig osäker runt andra hundar och kan bli intensiv om de kommer för nära eller "i hans ansikte". Därför måste han hållas på ledd i offentliga utrymmen och han måste hanteras noggrant runt andra hundar. Han skulle växa fram med en erfaren ägare, helst någon som är bekant med Staffies, som förstår hans behov och kan ge konsekvent ledning och struktur. I rätt hem är Leon en kärleksfull, levande kompanjon och en äkta Staffie-kärlekens dröm – full av rolig, kärlek och karaktär. Med rätt stöd och miljö kommer han att bli en utmärkt och belöndande tillgång till sin nya familj. Hemkrav: Leon är en 4-årig, högenergiaktig pojke fylld av personlighet och kärlek. Han är självsäker och upphetsad när han träffar nya människor och verkligen älskar alla han träffar – särskilt om det slutar med en kram! Leon växer fram genom aktivitet och skulle passa en aktiv familj som kan ge honom mycket fysisk träning samt mentala utmaningar, eftersom han absolut älskar sina leksaker och utforskar nya platser. Han kan bo med äldre barn i gymnasiet, som är bekväma med en bråkig hund. Leon behöver adoptanter som är närvarande en stor del av dagen från början, eftersom han inte kan lämnas ensam direkt och behöver tid och tålamod för att gradvis öka sin återhållsamhet. Leon is looking for a home in a quiet location without too much passing footfall and traffic. He would be best suited as the only dog in the home, as he can feel conflicted around other dogs and may become intense if they get too close or “in his face.” He will need to be kept on lead in public and managed carefully around other dogs for this reason the team have started muzzle training with Leon and will work with his new family to continue this. Leon is a clever boy (he can even open doors) and really enjoys his training he loves the one on one time with his handlers. He would thrive with an experienced owner, ideally someone familiar with Staffies, who understands his needs and can provide consistent guidance and structure. In the right home, Leon is a loving, lively companion and a true Staffie lover’s dream—full of fun, affection, and character, but he also has a sensitive side and can be anxious around unfamiliar objects and noises. With the right support and environment, he will make a wonderful and rewarding addition to his new family. Leon is a 4-year-old, high-energy boy bursting with personality and affection. He’s confident and excitable when meeting new people and truly loves everyone he meets—especially if it ends with a cuddle! Leon thrives on activity and would suit an active home that can provide him with plenty of physical exercise as well as mental enrichment, as he absolutely adores his toys and exploring new places. Leon will need adopters who are around all the time, as he cannot be left alone right away and will need time and patience to gradually build up his leaving hours. He gets very distressed when left alone and is looking for a family that understand he needs time to decompress coming from kennels before training starts on leaving alone. A home with knowledge and experience of the breed would be beneficial. He is still working on housetraining and basic manners, so he’ll need a committed owner willing to continue his training journey. He can live with older, secondary school-aged children who are comfortable around boisterous dogs. Any new adopters will need to be committed to multiple meets and home visits.
