Leon ville være best egnet som den eneste hunden i hjemmet, fordi han kan føle seg i konflikt rundt andre hunder og kan bli intens hvis de kommer for nær eller "i ansiktet" på ham. Derfor må han holde seg på leide i offentlighet og håndteres forsiktig rundt andre hunder. Han vil gjøre det bra med en erfaren eier, helst noen som er kjent med Staffies, som forstår hans behov og kan gi konsistent veiledning og struktur. I rett hjem er Leon en kjærlig, levende kompanjong og en sann drøm for en Staffie-elsker – full av glede, kjærlighet og karakter. Med riktig støtte og miljø vil han bli en fantastisk og tilfredsstillende tillegg til sin nye familie. Hjemkrav: Leon er en 4 år gammel, høyenergi gutt fylt med personlighet og kjærlighet. Han er sikker og spennende når han møter nye mennesker og elsker virkelig alle han møter – spesielt hvis det ender med en klem! Leon lever av aktivitet og vil passe til et aktivt hjem som kan gi ham mye fysisk trening samt mentalt stimulans, fordi han absolutt elsker sine leketøy og å utforske nye steder. Han kan leve sammen med eldre, sekundær skolealder barn som er komfortable rundt en bråkfulle hund. Leon vil trenge adoptører som er til stede de fleste dager i starten, fordi han ikke kan være alene like fra begynnelsen og vil trenge tid og tålmodighet for å gradvis øke antall timer han blir alene. Leon is looking for a home in a quiet location without too much passing footfall and traffic. He would be best suited as the only dog in the home, as he can feel conflicted around other dogs and may become intense if they get too close or “in his face.” He will need to be kept on lead in public and managed carefully around other dogs for this reason the team have started muzzle training with Leon and will work with his new family to continue this. Leon is a clever boy (he can even open doors) and really enjoys his training he loves the one on one time with his handlers. He would thrive with an experienced owner, ideally someone familiar with Staffies, who understands his needs and can provide consistent guidance and structure. In the right home, Leon is a loving, lively companion and a true Staffie lover’s dream—full of fun, affection, and character, but he also has a sensitive side and can be anxious around unfamiliar objects and noises. With the right support and environment, he will make a wonderful and rewarding addition to his new family. Leon is a 4-year-old, high-energy boy bursting with personality and affection. He’s confident and excitable when meeting new people and truly loves everyone he meets—especially if it ends with a cuddle! Leon thrives on activity and would suit an active home that can provide him with plenty of physical exercise as well as mental enrichment, as he absolutely adores his toys and exploring new places. Leon will need adopters who are around all the time, as he cannot be left alone right away and will need time and patience to gradually build up his leaving hours. He gets very distressed when left alone and is looking for a family that understand he needs time to decompress coming from kennels before training starts on leaving alone. A home with knowledge and experience of the breed would be beneficial. He is still working on housetraining and basic manners, so he’ll need a committed owner willing to continue his training journey. He can live with older, secondary school-aged children who are comfortable around boisterous dogs. Any new adopters will need to be committed to multiple meets and home visits.
