Leon serait le plus adapté en tant que seul chien dans la maison, car il peut ressentir de la confusion en présence d'autres chiens et peut devenir intense s'ils se rapprochent trop ou « dans son visage ». Pour cette raison, il devra être tenu en laisse en public et géré avec soin en présence d'autres chiens. Il prospérera avec un maître expérimenté, idéalement quelqu'un qui connaît les Staffords, qui comprend ses besoins et peut lui offrir une guidance et une structure constantes. Dans la bonne famille, Leon est un compagnon affectueux, dynamique et un rêve pour les amateurs de Staffords : plein de plaisir, d'affection et de personnalité. Avec le bon soutien et environnement, il sera une excellente et gratifiante addition à sa nouvelle famille. Conditions de logement : Leon est un jeune homme de 4 ans, très énergique, rempli de personnalité et d'affection. Il est confiant et excité lorsqu'il rencontre de nouvelles personnes et aime vraiment tout le monde qu'il rencontre – surtout si cela se termine par un câlin ! Leon a besoin d'activités et conviendra d'une maison active qui peut lui offrir beaucoup d'exercice physique ainsi qu'enrichissement mental, car il adore absolument ses jouets et l'exploration de nouveaux endroits. Il peut vivre avec des enfants plus âgés, au collège, qui sont à l'aise avec un chien bruyant. Les adoptants devront être présents la majeure partie de la journée initialement, car il ne peut pas être laissé seul tout de suite et aura besoin de temps et de patience pour progressivement augmenter ses heures d'absence. Il travaille encore sur l'habitude de la propreté et les bases des bonnes manières, donc il aura besoin d'un propriétaire dévoué qui souhaite continuer son parcours de formation. Leon is looking for a home in a quiet location without too much passing footfall and traffic. He would be best suited as the only dog in the home, as he can feel conflicted around other dogs and may become intense if they get too close or “in his face.” He will need to be kept on lead in public and managed carefully around other dogs for this reason the team have started muzzle training with Leon and will work with his new family to continue this. Leon is a clever boy (he can even open doors) and really enjoys his training he loves the one on one time with his handlers. He would thrive with an experienced owner, ideally someone familiar with Staffies, who understands his needs and can provide consistent guidance and structure. In the right home, Leon is a loving, lively companion and a true Staffie lover’s dream—full of fun, affection, and character, but he also has a sensitive side and can be anxious around unfamiliar objects and noises. With the right support and environment, he will make a wonderful and rewarding addition to his new family. Leon is a 4-year-old, high-energy boy bursting with personality and affection. He’s confident and excitable when meeting new people and truly loves everyone he meets—especially if it ends with a cuddle! Leon thrives on activity and would suit an active home that can provide him with plenty of physical exercise as well as mental enrichment, as he absolutely adores his toys and exploring new places. Leon will need adopters who are around all the time, as he cannot be left alone right away and will need time and patience to gradually build up his leaving hours. He gets very distressed when left alone and is looking for a family that understand he needs time to decompress coming from kennels before training starts on leaving alone. A home with knowledge and experience of the breed would be beneficial. He is still working on housetraining and basic manners, so he’ll need a committed owner willing to continue his training journey. He can live with older, secondary school-aged children who are comfortable around boisterous dogs. Any new adopters will need to be committed to multiple meets and home visits.
