Cleo, Born 2nd july 2022 Cleo was found abandoned outside a local shop in April and was taken to the out of hours vets by a member of the public. She was in bad state, very underweight and stained skin.She was kept at the vets while efforts were made to trace an owner but no one came forward and although she is chipped it was not registered to anyone, and even the implanting vet information was unavailable. Cleo is an Americn bulldog or cross. She is a big girl (23kg) who is nice natured but can get over excited. She loves treats and food of any kind and is very responsive if they are used for training as a reward for being a good girl. She is looking for a new owner who is used to bigger dogs, she can be fairly strong on the lead, and is willing to put the time into doing more basic training with her . We wouldn't home her with small children just because she can get over exicted at times and she would thrive in a calm enviroment. She is not cat freindly, very eager to chase them. She could live with another sensible dog . Since coming to us she has gained plenty of weight, we have had her spayed and she has started her vaccinations. Her skin is just marked from where ever she has been kept but is not sore or inflamed.
