Socks und Opie sind Schwestern, die im Juni 2022 geboren wurden. Sie sind zu Windyway gekommen, da ihre Besitzerin umgezogen ist und sie nicht mitnehmen konnte. Sie waren immer Katzen im Haus und suchen ein Zuhause, in dem sie entweder als Haustiere bleiben können oder in dem es eine sehr sichere Außenfläche gibt, wie z. B. einen katzensicheren Garten oder ein Catio, da sie kein Verständnis für Straßen haben. Socks (schwarzes Gesicht) ist etwas selbstsicherer als ihre Schwester und ist eine spielende, zärtliche Katze, die manchmal ziemlich laut sein kann. Opie ist ängstlicher, reagiert aber gut auf sanfte und geduldige Behandlung und genießt eine Nachtzeit-Kuschel- und Streicheleiaktion – sie liebt es, mit Fäden und hängenden Spielsachen zu spielen. Sie haben bisher mit einem kleinen Hund zusammengelebt, ohne Probleme. Sie würden gerne ein sicheres Zuhause gemeinsam finden. Aufgrund von Opies scheuer Natur benötigt sie eine ruhige Familie mit jemandem, der Geduld hat, sie darin unterstützt, sich langsam zu entspannen und Selbstvertrauen zu gewinnen. Opie und Socks sind mit Mikrochips versehen und wurden kastriert sowie mit Floh- und Wurmmitteln behandelt und haben ihre ersten Impfungen erhalten. Sie haben ein sauberes Gesundheitszeugnis vom Tierarzt.

Smyk, (Polish meaning Scamp), was born on 03/01/2016 Smyk is a chunky Rottie cross Staffie who is a sweet boy but quite strong and enthusiastic for an older boy, so we are looking for someone who is used to a strong dog and can manage him on the lead. He was used to living and walking with an elderly lady with no issues. She had him as a rescue as a young dog and has looked after him really well. He was initially staying with us as a respite case while she was in hospital but, sadly, she has become too frail for him to go home to her and she has agreed that he should now find a new owner to love him like she has done for the last several years. He loves a fuss and is very affectionate when inside but tends to be easily distracted out on a walk, he's too busy looking at and smelling everything! He is good with other dogs and has also been fine around children and horses in his previous home. We don't think he could live with cats. He loves to play ball and will bring it back in exchange for a treat. He loves food of any kind. He's now restarted his vaccinations (he was always vaccinated but missed last year's due to his owner's condition) and we've had him neutered and he's bounced back from this with no problem. Beneath his tough exterior Smyk can be a bit of a wuss and will panic at the vets, especially about needles, so is muzzled for injections. He quickly forgives the vet when the treats come out!
